Questions and answers

Wondering about something?

What does GratisParkering cost?

The app is free to download, and sharing spots costs nothing. Once you sign in, the whole map is free: every spot and its rule. Pluss adds the tools: filters, directions straight to the spot, a parking timer, alerts before winter parking and zone rules start, the map offline and unlimited favorites. Pluss costs 49 kr a month or 299 kr a year. The yearly plan starts with 7 days free.

Where in Norway does it work?

The whole country, from day one. Spots are added by drivers, so some places have many and others only a few so far. Every spot that gets shared makes the map better for everyone nearby.

Who adds the spots?

Drivers like you. Each spot is shared with a photo and the rule from the sign, and a moderator reviews it before it shows as approved.

Can I trust that a spot is free?

Every spot shows the rule as the driver saw it on the sign. The sign on site always applies, so check it when you park. If something is wrong, you can report the spot in the app.

How do I get a free month?

Share three spots with a photo. Once all three are approved, you have 30 days of Pluss in credit, which you use when you start a subscription. You can earn up to three months per twelve months.

Is the app in English?

Not yet. The app is in Norwegian at launch; this page is a translation for visitors.

How do I delete my account?

Under Profile in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. See delete account.
